Recently, we came across the entry dated 18 May 1958 in the SBA committee minute book, the day after Shotts won the Scottish Junior Cup with a 2-0 win against Pumpherston at Hampden Park in front of 33,000 spectators.
Weekly meeting of the Club held in Club pavilion Sunday 18 May, Mr G Strang presiding, 25 members being present. Minutes of last meeting were read and adopted on a motion from J Weir and seconded by D Brown.
Request from St Patrick's School for use of the field for Sports on 25 June granted.
